Welcome!

I am a postdoctoral researcher in Comparative Politics at the University of Hamburg. Previously, I worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Leuphana University of Lüneburg. I hold a PhD in Political Science from Gothenburg University, and did a research stay at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.

I research political behavior and comparative politics from a gender perspective, with a focus on opposition to feminism. My PhD dissertation explores antifeminism and radical right support, and my Cambridge Elements book investigates the role of gender and sexuality in political authoritarianism.

My research is published in the European Journal of Political Research, Politics & Gender, West European Politics, the European Journal of Politics and Gender, Social Politics and Frontiers in Political Science. It features in international media outlets, podcasts and academic blog posts. I have also shared my research with policy-makers and civil society.
